Main Street Radio FM 88 is a not-for-profit organization formed to develop an alternative to commercial radio service that will be of direct interest to listeners in or near the Town of Erin, Georgetown, Orangeville, Caledon, Grand Valley, Hillsurgh, Rockwood, Acton, South Guelph and more than 25 countries around the world live on the internet. 88.1 provides the opportunity for any individual, group, or community located in the same market to create high quality, entertaining, informative and innovative local radio programming.

FM 88 offers unique programming according to CRTC Rules, Regulations and Guidelines. We are committed to providing local listeners with news, sports, events and the opportunity to advertise at a local level. We encourage the buy local initiative.

The first Main Street Radio Campaign will be launched at 7 am on Friday May 25, 2012. Live hosts will be on call to take your pledges. Donate to keep Main Street Radio up and running.

Wellington-Halton Hills MPP Ted Arnott and Ontario Trillium Foundation Winston Uytenbogaart present Jay Mowat for a cheque $29,000 toward the 250 watt increase. The radio station was previously broadcasting at 50 watts and was heard in the Town of Erin and south Orangeville. The new increase now reaches Georgetown, The Town of Erin, Rockwood, Acton, South Guelph, Grand Valley, Orangeville, and Caledon. Thank you Ontario Trillium Foundation!
